August 28: First Presbyterian Church, LeClaire - Mom (or Dad) and Me Playdate 10-11:30. 200 South 12th Street LeClaire (across from Bridgeview). For either parent and child(ren) newborn to 4 years old. A time for parents to be together and for kids to play together.

August 31, 5-8pm: 
Wide River Winery Tasting Room has live music on their patio by Lonely Goats. Their chef will be featuring flatbreads during live music Fridays and some fun new appetizers including corn fritters with chili lime sauce. 

August 31, 6-9pm:
Steventon’s has live music by Douglas & Tucker on their patio with a river view.


September 7, 5-11pm: First Friday in LeClaire

• Mississippi River Distilling Co. and Cody Road Cocktail House celebrate First Friday with live music by Avey/Grouws Duo 7-10pm.
• Ulmie's Nest will be open late with 15% off all GroVia products, as well as some giveaways. 
• Wide River Winery Tasting Room has live music on their patio by Corey Wallace from 5-8pm.

September 8:
First Presbyterian Church - LeClaire - Our Adult Group, Friends (formerly known as Active Christians) will meet  5 pm for a potluck and games. Call Debbie Smith for more information.  200 South 12th Street LeClaire (across from Bridgeview). 

September 9:
First Presbyterian Church, LeClaire - Children’s Sunday School will resume. Rally Day. Children (and teachers) are encouraged to wear a super hero’s costume. After worship there will be a bike, trike, wagon and stroller parade around the parking lot and around the Bridgeview school parking lot. September 10-October 29 -
Bible Study: First Presbyterian Church – LeClaire Mondays at 1:30pm, starting September 10, for 8 weeks; ending October 29. Title: Engage Discipleship. Cost of book is $6. Call Pastor Melody at 563-381-7777, by Sept. 4 to sign up.  200 South 12th Street LeClaire (across from Bridgeview).

September 20:
Bamboo Baby - Bring a friend or two and have fun blending essential oils for Baby, Kids and Moms! We'll provide all of the "recipes" and ingredients for common health and well-being roller balls. These will include teething relief, tummy, sleep, and mood boosters for Baby and Kids as well as Lactation support and Mood boosters for Mom's and Moms-to-be! While blending, enjoy a glass of wine or a mock-tail, girl talk and shopping for yourself and littles! Hand massages offered, too! Big Wheels Keep on Turnin’ – adult* Big Wheel races hosted by the River Valley Optimist Club. Want to bring back childhood memories for a good cause? Come out to the adult big wheel races and enjoy the afternoon with friends! Teams of 4 will compete in a relay style course for top prize. There will be a team costume contest and much more. More information to follow with event registration! Mark your calendars now and get 3 of your closest (and most fun) friends to join you in helping make a positive impact on the children in Pleasant Valley & LeClaire. *Teams have a minimum age requirement of 21 for this event.

October 6: Habitat for Humanity will hold their annual Mr/Ms Habitat Fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. at St. Ambrose University Rogalski Center. Chamber member, Kathy Anderson, invites you to get involved.
You can help by donating items for a LeClaire Experience for the silent auction, such as gift certificates or merchandise. Donations of wine (minimum value of $10) are also needed for the Wine Pull. You can also sponsor a table or attend the event. Tickets are $50 per person or $500 for a table of eight persons. Guys in Ties & Comedy Sportz, who will emcee the event. All proceeds help future homeowners purchase an affordable home.
