Wide River Winery Tasting Room has extended their hours for summer: 11am-7pm Sunday thru Wednesday, 11am-8pm Thursday, 11am-9pm Friday and Saturday. Enjoy some great wine on their patio, listen to live music every Friday from 5-8pm, or enjoy a wine tasting of $7 for 5 samples of wine and a wine glass.

Spring is Here! LeClaire Super Wash 
announces the summer pink foam is back! Come in and check it out! Our self serve bays have “tons of foam” to wash your care. Come see it, and if you need help, ask attendants on duty, Dennis or Henry, there 9-11 a.m. and 3-5 p.m., Monday thru Saturday! And, Great Ideas for Dad! He would love to have carwash tokens for Father’s Day! Get 4 tokens for $20 or 8 for $40. Each token has a $7 value at the automatic. Stop in while Dennis or Henry are on duty!

LeClaire Community Library – Crafternoon. Get crafty at the library! This free, drop-in program is fun for all ages.

Thursday, June 7, 4:30pm:
LeClaire Community Library - Tinker Lab [Kindness Rocks, Dremel Style]. During Week 1 make kindness rocks to spread kindness around LeClaire. Carve kind words and designs into rocks. Later, they will be hidden around town to share kindness. Best for ages 10 and up.

Monday, June 8, 4pm:
LeClaire Community Library - Kindness Rocks. Paint a rock and spread kindness around LeClaire! The rocks you paint will be hidden around town to share kindness. Ages 3-15 are encouraged to participate!

Saturday, June 9, 11am:
LeClaire Community Library - Mosaics with Diane Madden. Local artist, Diane Madden, will lead a two-part mosaic workshop! The first Saturday will focus on designing your mosaic and the second will focus on painting and grouting. Class size limited to 10. To reserve your spot, call 563-289-4242 ext. 4. Wednesday, June 13, 4:30pm:
LeClaire Community Library - ISU Insect Zoo. Be an entomologist for an hour! Get hands-on time with many different insects and maybe even touch a tarantula. Learn what insects do for us every day. Sponsored by LeClaire Lions Club.

Thursday, June 14, 4:30pm:
LeClaire Community Library - Tinker Lab [Kindness Rocks, Dremel Style].  Come back for the next two sessions to create kindness pendants with spoons and forks using the Dremel tool. Best for ages 10 and up.

Friday, June 15, 10:30am:
LeClaire Community Library - Science of Sound. Explore sound through play and art! Explore how sound moves through water and see what your voice looks like to a computer. This program is best for children aged 3-7, but all are welcome.

Saturday, June 16, 11am:

LeClaire Community Library - Absolute Science. This is an amazingly fun and educational program for children of all ages to become engaged in the world of science. Exciting "Creation Stations" where kids make-and-take awesome experiments. Sponsored by Ascentra Credit Union.

Saturday, June 23, 11am:
LeClaire Community Library - Roeder Musical Trio. Keeping with the musical Summer Reading Program theme, “Libraries Rock,” this seasoned group will perform a mixture of country, rock and roll, old standards, and originals. Instruments include: acoustic and electric guitars, tuba, ukulele, bass, and harmonica. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

LeClaire Community Library - Family Storytime with Quad City Symphony “Musical Mad Libs.” Go for a special storytime where you will get to write lyrics to a song! Sponsored by The Friends of LeClaire Community Library

LeClaire Community Library - Ballet Quad Cities “Dance Me a Story.” A fun interactive dance program for people of all ages that encourages reading through the vehicle of dance. LeClaire Community Library - Adult Book Club. This month they’ll be reading The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. Books are available at the library’s circulation counter free of cost AND are now available as an eBook through the RiverShare Digital Library Catalog.
