SERVING THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND
The Ascentra Credit Union volunteer board of directors and senior leadership team have been busy paying it forward this summer to 36 different charities and organizations, donating $17,000 in Leadership Grants from the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation. In 2015, the Ascentra Credit Union Foundation successfully established its Leadership Grants to stay true to Ascentra’s People-Helping-People philosophy and support giving back to the community. Each of Ascentra’s volunteer board of directors and senior leadership team were given $1,000 to support causes that are meaningful to them. Since then, the Leadership Grants have continued to make a positive impact and have awarded a total of $51,000.
