Join the Mississippi River Distilling Company and Cody Road Cocktail House “Cocktail Cruise!” If you've been to the Cody Road Cocktail House - see how exciting the giant wall of cocktail choices can be! They always have 20 different feature cocktails on the menu. It's a tough choice because they are all delicious! Once you've tried one and you love it, then it's hard to veer off from a home run and try another. They want to encourage you to take a tour of all the cocktails on the menu. Each of the 20 cocktails will be numbered on the “Cocktail Cruise” card. Order each cocktail and have your card stamped. Fill it up and get free stuff and discounts in their store. Tuesday, March 20th at 6:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Junior Explorers. Explore a new science theme each month at the library—March’s theme is Weather! Come in for a fun story-time and hands-on exploratory stations. This program will take the place of Family Storytime and is best for children aged 3-7.
Wednesday, March 21st at 10:30am: LeClaire Community Library - Mini Makers. Sensory play encourages toddlers to explore and get to know the world around them. Come to the library to make a mess, have fun, and experience new things on the third Wednesday of every month. This program is best for ages 10 months to 3 years.
Friday, March 23rd at 2:00pm: LeClaire Community Library - Drop-In Tech Help. Bring in any device and we will give it a shot! Please arrive with passwords needed to access your device or accounts.
Saturday, March 24th at 11:00am: LeClaire Community Library - Buon Appetito )Italian Cuisine with Vanessa). Native Italian, Vanessa Jasper, will teach us how to make lasagna! Class size is limited to 18. Adults only.
Wednesday, March 28th at 6:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Adult Book Club. This month we’ll be reading Shotgun Lovesong, by Nicolas Butler. Books are available at the library’s circulation counter free of cost AND are now available as an eBook through our RiverShare Digital Library Catalog.
Thursday, March 29th at 6:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Murder & Mayhem with author John Brassard Jr. Local historian John Brassard Jr. will be sharing stories from his new book Murder & Mayhem in Scott County Iowa. Books will be available for purchase.
Wednesday, April 4th, 4:00pm: LeClaire Community Library – Crafternoon. Come get crafty at the library! This free, drop-in program is fun for all ages.
Thursday, April 5th, 4:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Tinker Lab [2D Needle Felting]. Try your hand at needle felting! We will be learning the basics of 2D felting during the first class of the month. Ages 8 and up are welcome to join!
Monday, April 9th, 4:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Spring Fling Dance Party. Dance the hour away playing fun dance games with your friends! Ages 8-15 are encouraged to come in to show off their dance moves!
Thursday, April 12th, 4:30pm: LeClaire Community Library - Tinker Lab [3D Needle Felting. Once you try out 2D needle felting come to the next classes to work on some 3D projects. Best for ages 10 and up.

Saturday, April 21st, 11:00am: LeClaire Community Library - Prohibition in Eastern Iowa with author Linda McCann. Guest speaker and author Linda McCann will share how prohibiton, the 13 year perion in U.S. history that attempted to control the drinking of alcohol, affected Eastern Iowa. From farmers, to bootleggers who brought in liquor from Chicago, to visits from Al Capone, to a gun battle on a two-way highway, Eastern Iowa saw it all!
