  • Sunday, February 26th Come help the museum celebrate Buffalo Bill's birthday on Sunday, February 26th. Children Ages 2-12 come dressed as Buffalo Bill or Annie Oakley for a look a like contest. Judging will be at 2:00 p.m. Admission will be free all day and refreshments will be served. The museum's winter hours are from 9:00-4:00 Monday through Saturday and from 12:00-4:00 on Sunday.

    Learn more about the Bald Eagles of LeClaire, Iowa

    Nature photographers and bird watchers will be delighted with the opportunities at Lock and Dam #14 on the Mississippi River in LeClaire to capture amazing photos and sightings of Bald Eagles in the Winter months and Pelicans that call Le Claire "home" during the Spring and Summer months.

    Eagles start to gather around the Lock and Dam on the South Side of LeClaire as soon as the ice starts forming in December and stay around through late February and early March. Pelican start to soar around the skies of LeClaire in mid-March through the Fall.
     
    Lock and Dam #14 is located on the Mississippi River, just off Highway 67 and just South of Interstate 80.
