An important part of a town’s vitality is it’s volunteers. The people who, unpaid are tireless, selfness and promote the welfare of the community. They serve on our committees, volunteer at our events and serve on many of our boards.


 

Our community regularly hosts special events that serve two purposes: They draw tourists who contribute to our economy and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Named in honor of the chamber’s first president for whom public service was a life-long endeavor. This award honors the individual who in 2012, our membership considered an exceptionally effective leader in the community.
