The 3/50 Project
The 3/50 Project is a grassroots economic stimulus plan that has
emerged as a nationwide campaign to bring small businesses and
consumers together to save their local economies.
It encourages supporters to set aside $50 each moth and then
spend that money at independently owned businesses in the
community.
According to the the 3/50 project, for each $100 spent in
locally-owned businesses, $68 remains in the community's economy
in contract to only $43 that stays for each $100 spent at
national chains and $0 return for online purchases.
So visit LeClaire's unique shops, businesses and restaurants and
help support this great project for our town!
